At Colegio Peruano Británico, service is a distinct component of the IB Diploma programme that all our students work on, from their youngest years until their graduation and beyond. In this way, during their time at CPB, our students connect their projects to the larger international aspects of the IB and learn how to apply their skills in the real world. This helps them make more informed choices on their university and potential career paths.
As part of our international culture of global values, all our students learn to research, understand, and debate current issues. Our specifically designed Secondary course, ‘Global Politics and Citizenship,’ focusses on current issues. This course helps our students consider how they can make a difference not only locally but also globally.
Students who are especially interested in exploring this outside the classroom participate in our Model United Nations (MUN) student group. Our MUN group focuses on debates and solutions to today's global challenges, as they practice their critical thinking and public speaking skills.
